Bright & Brilliant was built from the simple belief that learning begins at home.

Created by a mom of four with a background in elementary education, Bright & Brilliant was designed to help families confidently teach reading in a way that’s effective, joyful, and connection-driven.

While working in schools and teaching her own children how to read, our founder noticed something simple but profound: while classrooms are filled with wonderful, caring teachers, the most powerful learning opportunities are found at home. She met too many intelligent kids at school who were reading below grade level, and many loving parents who wanted to support their children’s reading but wondered where to begin.

Bright & Brilliant was created to help families build a strong reading foundation from the start.

Our step-by-step, screen-free approach makes teaching reading simple and enjoyable. No teaching experience required. Just 20 minutes a day, a little consistency, and a lot of love.

Our hope is simply that time spent reading and learning together becomes one of the sweetest parts of your day, a place where children feel proud, parents feel confident, and family bonds grow stronger. A place where effective learning also feels fun and full of joy.

Because the best learning doesn’t just happen at a desk…it happens on cozy couches and jam-smeared kitchen tables, in the quiet, messy in-betweens of family life.
